We are looking for a Producer who will enable efficient, predictive delivery of high quality products in support of cultivating and maintaining vibrant online communities. If you are a delivery focused, collaborative leader with a passion for helping drive impactful outcomes, Two Hat would love to have you on our team.

Who We Are

Two Hat is an industry leading community technology and content moderation company. Our mission is to help social networks build safe, healthy, and welcoming online communities by removing negative and amplifying positive interactions to empower better human connections. We believe that communities thrive when everyone is free to share online without fear of harassment or abuse. With a global, multi-lingual, multi-cultural mandate, our team works every day to bring joyful interaction to life across dozens of market leading communities - while simultaneously providing insight into the activities and risks within those experiences. Growing healthy, thriving, highly retaining audiences with, and for, our partners drives us every day.

Using a combination of human ingenuity and AI driven tools, we monitor more than 100 billion social interactions a month. Two Hat enables clients across a variety of social networks and gaming companies to build positive user experiences across text, images, and video by detecting and filtering harmful content in real time, before it reaches the community. More than just a filter, Two Hat gives organizations the insights and tools necessary to build and maintain their communities across multiple languages and cultures. Clients benefit from our scalable, autonomous, and transparent solution, as well as our team of industry experts who consult on best practices and industry standards. As a leading provider of content moderation best practices, we believe we can restore the original purpose of the internet - to empower positive human connection and facilitate healthy social online interactions.

We are leaders in our industry - obsessed with protecting children and the vulnerable. We partner with law enforcement, work with government agencies like the World Economic Forum, and have been founding members of industry groups like the Fair Play Alliance. We take this work incredibly seriously and personally.

What We Are Looking For

Producers at Two Hat are passionate about efficiently aligning resources and removing blockers in support of delivering products and functionality that amplify the positive aspects of online communities while eliminating toxicity. They have an eye for quality and simplicity, understanding the needs of our clients and the operational aspects of bringing software to life.

As a collaborative partner in the development process, Producers are responsible for understanding the Product Manager’s vision and objectives, leading cross-functional teams of product managers, software developers, data scientists, marketers, designers, and customer success from planning through execution, to client rollout. This person works closely with all stakeholders and contributors to establish expectations, set aspirational targets, anticipate and resolve potential blockers, and hold the team accountable to meeting all commitments.

Successful candidates will be responsible for:

  • Translating Vision to Action
    • Working closely with cross functional teams to scope business requirements and provide high level and detailed time estimates to key stakeholders.
    • Leading the team from the development of an ambitious (yet achievable) plan through kickoff of work.
  • Prioritization of Work
    • Managing backlogs, ensuring a constant stream of the highest priority work is flowing to teams.
    • Coordinating cross-functionally to prioritize customer requests, bugs and engineering tasks in the backlog.
    • Coordinate cross-functionally on the execution of marketing, training and operational deliverables.
    • Seeking and validating customer feedback through various channels.
  • Delivery
    • Driving the project/product to success: within budget, on schedule, and inclusive of committed scope.
    • Driving to decisions and outcomes. Whether during a project kickoff or upon uncovering a potential issue, producers are responsible for bringing the team together and  reaching alignment on a recommended path forward.
    • Looking for opportunities to accomplish more with less.
    • Maintaining a spirit of flexibility that responds to changing priorities (and the ambiguity that comes with it) with grace.
  • Communication and Leadership
    • Leading by example. Working with cross functional teams to instill a culture of accountability, creativity, and humility.
    • Maintaining focus and collective efforts against the objective at hand. Keeping the team on task.
    • Communicating relevant, salient, and succinct updates that drive to desired outcomes (resolution, action, etc.).
    • Possessing mastery of the details while understanding the importance of brevity.
    • Acting as the central hub of communication for each initiative, ensuring information is flowing seamlessly in both directions.
    • Leveraging failure as an opportunity to learn.
  • Quality
    • Releasing products that the team will take pride in.
